Harding Day Camp offers lots of fun and challenging activities for all campers. Tentatively scheduled for the 2011 season:

Swimming
Campers will walk to a private pool in Harding. The pool will be supervised by a certified pool operator. The campers will be supervised by certified lifeguards.

Arts and Crafts
A variety of arts and crafts activities will be offered. Some HTRA favorites: tie-dyeing, plaster molding, leather lacing, weaving, metal tooling, string art, sand painting, macramé and wood crafting.

Sports
Campers will have an opportunity to participate in various sports activities such as soccer, softball, volleyball, basketball, kickball, 4-squares, ultimate Frisbee, and capture the flag.

Drama
Have fun doing skits, making costumes and scenery, dancing to music, producing, directing, acting, and watching.

Campcrafts
Campers will learn to build a campfire, participate in scavenger hunts and create nature crafts.

Computers
Campers will have an opportunity to work in the computer lab on available programs.

Swimming Lessons
Swimming lessons will be offered for campers attending any three weeks of camp. Students entering kindergarten and grade 1 only are eligible. Class size will be limited to 16 with 2 qualified instructors. All lessons are held at 9:15AM. Students enrolling in this course should wear their bathing suits to camp and arrive by 8:55 AM.

Science Enrichment
Student entering grades 1 - 4 may sign up during Weeks 2 & 3 for Science Enrichment activities. Classes will be held Tuesday-Friday for week 2 and Monday-Thursday for week 3. Students will miss an afternoon activity in order to attend Science classes. Class times will rotate each day.
