The Harding Township Recreation Association is pleased to offer an annual field hockey day camp and field hockey mini-camp. Emphasis is placed on the players having fun while learning the skills to play the great game of Field Hockey!

The camp is held at the Harding Township School and is open to students entering 4th through 8th grades in the fall.  Players will learn the essentials of field hockey while they build a strong foundation of basic skills.

Instruction includes:

• Proper techniques.
• Proper positional play.
• Comprehensive rules of the game.
• Particular emphasis on offensive & defensive strategies at both the team & individual levels.

Activities include:

• Individual and group practice.
• Small team activities and games.
• Full team game play.

Facilities:

• Multiple playing fields.
• Gymnasium for indoor play.
• Locker room facilities.
• Off-site private swimming pool.

Instruction will take place both indoors and outdoors.
